Humble
Reading the Bible is easier when someone you know is reading it with you.
Each day, one person in your group records themselves reading the passage aloud. Everyone else listens when they can, then shares a short reflection.

Reading alone is hard to sustain.
Reading together is hard to schedule.
Humble removes the second problem.
Most people who want to read more consistently already know what's missing: someone else doing it with them. The problem is that "together" has always meant same time, same place. Humble changes that. One person in your group reads the day's passage aloud and records it. Everyone else listens on their own time, on a commute, during lunch, or before bed, and adds a short reflection before seeing what anyone else said. It's a small daily rhythm, shared with people you actually know.
How it works
Gather your people
Create a group with friends, family, or your small group. Pick a reading plan and invite them by phone number.
One person reads each day
A different member records themselves reading the passage each day. The rotation is automatic. No one has to volunteer.
Listen when you're ready
Hear the passage in a familiar voice, then write or record a short reflection.
See what your group noticed
Once you've shared yours, everyone's responses open up.
Built around a simple daily rhythm.
Rotating daily reader
The reader changes every day, automatically. No one has to initiate, and everyone takes a turn.
Responses hidden until you share
You can see who's responded, but not what they said. Not until you've added your own. Your first thought stays your own.
Respond by voice or text
Record a short audio reflection or type a few sentences. Whichever feels right in the moment.
A gentle daily prompt
One open question with each passage: "What does this say about God or people?" Enough to get started, not so much that it boxes you in.
Quiet reminders
A morning nudge for the day's reader. A soft evening reminder for anyone who hasn't had a chance to respond yet.
Curated reading plans
Start with Lamentations (16 days) or Psalms of Ascent (15 days).
Sundays off
No reading is assigned on Sundays. A day of rest, built in by default.
Start reading with your people.
